Rachel Pollard, First Class University of Exeter Drama graduate, specialised in creative psychophysical performance and new media arts. After undergoing intense training for over three years under the tuition of Phillip B Zarrilli in the South Indian martial art form of Kalarippayattu she pursued her training at Circomedia, specialising in Acrobatics and Physical Theatre. She left the school with a desire to create original and exciting performance that would allow her whole body to speak as she remains silent.
Sebastien Valade, former Mechanical Engineer (Master Degree) experienced in structural engineering, computer and new media technologies, came to the UK from his homeland of France to study at Circomedia following his passion for creative juggling and physical performance. He left with the will to combine his engineering and performance skills to create original and inventive performance.
Alongside Green Eyed Zero, Sebastien also works as a professional juggler, www.sebastienvalade.com.
Rachel and Sebastien met in 2005 at Circomedia (School of Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre) and their mutual interests in innovative performance led them to create a short duo piece for the Circomedia graduation show, designing a new and exciting structure.

Since then, they have formed Green Eyed Zero. Through this new performance company they want to integrate contemporary circus, physical theatre, and new media arts to provide an imaginative and visual spectacle for their audience that will both challenge and stimulate through the use of unconventional theatrical methods
